Dorsia Book On Behalf

Dorsia Book On Behalf allows guest relations staff to send reservation booking links for exclusive tables at top restaurants to their clients.

Sign in

The Dorsia team will set up your account and grant access to bookonbehalf.dorsia.com.

Browse restaurants

Discover the top restaurants available for booking in your location.

Filter your search

Find restaurants by date, time, party size, neighborhood, and cuisine.

Choose a table

Select the reservation that works best for your client.

Enter client details

Enter the first name, last name, and phone number of the client.

Send booking link

Directly send the client an SMS with instructions on how to complete the booking, including entering their credit card information. Note: country code can be edited.

Booking link sent 🎉

The reservation will be confirmed once the client completes the booking link and payment information is entered and processed. Tables will be held for 30 minutes based on when the link is sent.

View all booking links

Click "View all booking links" under the profile icon to see every booking link sent to a client and their status. Links can be Sent, Confirmed, Expired, Canceled, or Reservation Complete.

FAQs and Best Practices

Reservations

All reservations will be made through Dorsia. Reservations are non-transferable, and the guest who booked must be present for their reservation.

Payment

All reservations must be paid for through Dorsia Frictionless Payment Technology via the booking link. Clients cannot pay on-site. Their cards are automatically charged for any overage, sales tax, and gratuity. There are no check drops.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations can be canceled up to 7 days before the reservation date to receive a refund with a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of the reservation date are non-refundable.

Modification Requests

Modifications must be requested to the Dorsia Hospitality team via hospitality@dorsia.com. Modifications are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Requests to increase party size are not guaranteed. Once a reservation is booked, the minimum spend per person stays the same even if the party size decreases.

Code of Conduct

Timeliness is imperative — please ensure clients are prompt to their reservation. Many restaurants have a 15-minute grace period, after which reservations are not guaranteed. Treat restaurant staff with respect and abide by their dress code and code of conduct. Clients are responsible for the conduct of their guests and must respect the privacy of other restaurant guests; photography should be discreet. Dorsia reserves the right to revoke Book on Behalf credentials at any time at our sole discretion.
