Dorsia currently operates in NYC, Miami, LA, The Hamptons, London and San Francisco. The full list of active restaurant partners for each city can be found on the app.
How do I become a member?
Download Dorsia - "Dorsia Members Club" - from the Apple App Store and complete the application process. Our membership team reviews applications on a daily basis and will notify you if your membership is approved within a timely manner. Referrals from other active members are given priority.
Is there an initiation fee and/or membership dues to be a part of Dorsia?
At this time, there are no membership fees or extra service fees associated with a Dorsia membership.
How do I book a reservation?
Upon logging into the app and selecting the preferred restaurant date and time, members prepay a locked-in minimum spend to confirm the reservation. 100% of the prepayment goes toward the total bill and covers anything ordered during your meal. The minimum spend is calculated from a supply-and-demand pricing model, similar to what’s used in the travel industry, factoring in urgency, timing, availability, and high-demand periods.
Any amount that goes above the minimum spend is paid by the member at the end of the meal along with tax and tip.
How far in advance can I book a table?
Tables become available 30 days in advance of reservation dates.
What is the cancellation and modification policy?
In order to secure the most coveted reservations with the best restaurants, and bring integrity back to a challenging industry, Dorsia has a more strict cancellation policy than others.
All cancellations and modifications must happen in the Dorsia app - emailing us or calling the restaurant will result in forfeited minimum spend.
For reservations canceled 8+ hours before dining time, members will receive 100% of the minimum table spend back into their account as Dorsia dining credits, redeemable at any restaurant on the platform.
For reservations canceled within 8 hours of dining time, members forfeit 50% of the minimum table spend and the remaining 50% spend will go back into their account as Dorsia dining credits.
If a member does not cancel and fails to show up to the restaurant, they will forfeit 100% of their spend.
What is a custom request?
Even if you don’t see your desired reservation time, party size or date, you can make a custom request with a proposed minimum spend per person. Once a custom request is made, the restaurant will confirm or deny the request given their availability in a timely manner.
Custom requests for same day reservations are responded to by the restaurant within a couple of hours. For custom requests for a future date, requests are most often answered by the next day.
A pre-authorization is made on your credit card for any custom request - if the request is denied the hold will be released and you will not be charged.
