Data Deletion Instructions
Dorsia respects your right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to delete your Dorsia account and the data associated with it, including any data we may have received through Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or Threads).
Option 1: Delete your account from the Dorsia app
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Dorsia mobile app:
- Open the Dorsia app on your iPhone or Android device
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Your account will be deactivated immediately and your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, in accordance with our retention policy.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the Dorsia app, you can request account and data deletion by email:

Subject line: Data Deletion Request
Please send the email from the address associated with your Dorsia account and include:
- Your full name
- The email address or phone number associated with your account
- A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your account and personal data
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. If we are unable to verify your identity from the information provided, we may contact you to confirm.
What data is deleted
When you delete your Dorsia account, we delete or anonymize:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo, biographical details)
- Your reservation history and preferences
- Your saved payment methods (we instruct our payment processor, Stripe, to delete or detokenize stored payment data)
- Your messages with the Dorsia concierge
- Your activity data, including app usage, reservation requests, and event attendance
- Any data we received from Meta platforms in connection with your account
What data we may retain
In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information after account deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Transaction and financial records required for tax, accounting, audit, anti-money-laundering, and chargeback dispute purposes (typically retained for up to 7 years)
- Records required to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or regulatory investigations
- Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be linked back to you
- Records reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms of Service or to protect against fraud
Any retained information will be securely stored and used only for the purposes described above.
